  American Dance Training Camp aka ADTC is the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp for girls 8-17 in the Beautiful Hill Country - Session 1: June 15 - 21, 2025; Session 2: June 22 - 28, 2025

     Whether you're brand new to dance or a seasoned competitor, we want you to have fun and grow as a dancer and a person. We've successfully empowered thousands of girls around the world for 17 years with ADTC dance camps. We hope you'll join us for dance, adventure, new friends & fun this summer. At our TX dance camp, you'll take 4 - 5 dance classes per-day, Mon through Fri. Classes are taught by our professional choreographers. The core dance disciplines you'll take are contemporary, hip hop and jazz (styles vary and may include Bwy or lyrical). Elective dance classes include ballet, tap & world dance. At ADTC "ULTIMATE Hill Country" in Texas, campers and staff live together in a traditional residence hall. Each room houses two campers who share a bathroom in the hallway.   Halloween Children's Concert - Sunday, October 20, 2024 3:00PM.

     CHILLS AND THRILLS! It's creepy, crawly and so much fun it's spooky! Your little ghost or goblin will help haunt Long Center's Dell Hall for Austin Symphony Orchestra's annual Halloween Children's Concert. This exciting concert features frightfully fun symphonic music that is stimulating for young eyes and ears (ages 4-11). This season, your ASO will feature The Composer is Dead a riotous collaboration between composer Nathaniel Stookey and children's author Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler) that combines two elements of great storytelling: music and suspense. ASO Assistant Conductor Pablo Zamora and actor André Martin will lead the orchestra through this gripping murder mystery where every member of the orchestra is a suspect! The mysterious whodunit gets underway with Pre-Concert Activities for Kids at 2:00 pm on the Long Center's H-E-B Terrace, including musical and Halloween crafts, games, and an Instrument Petting Zoo. A one-hour narrated concert will follow, starting at 3:00 pm in Dell Hall. Come in costume - many members of the orchestra will too.   Building Blocks of the Orchestra.

     Through our innovative Building Blocks program, ASO musicians interact with thousands of young students (grades Pre-K–3) annually in a school setting and introduce them to the instruments of the orchestra, laying a firm foundation for music appreciation. Presentations feature rotating chamber ensembles of ASO musicians, including a string quartet, woodwind quintet, and brass quintet, as well as individual percussion and harp demonstrations. Thanks to our generous funders, approximately 43 elementary schools will receive a fully-funded Building Blocks presentation during our 2024-2025 season!

  Founded in 2020, illumine Choirs is proud to be an independent not-for-profit organization under the leadership of our Founder and Artistic Director, Nina Revering of Conspirare Youth Choirs fame. We are honored to continue to serve our community through outstanding music instruction. illumine provides musical training for youth across the Austin region. The excellence of Nina's direction and the talent of our singers has led to invitations to headline the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association in Oklahoma City in 2018 and to perform at both the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association in 2014 and the Texas Music Educators Association conference in 2009. While illumine's primary goal is to foster a lifelong love for music rather than train professional music singers, many of our students have gone on to sing at the collegiate and professional levels. From MIT to the Metropolitan Opera, our alumni build their path to success with the tools provided by illumine Choirs. illumine Choirs seeks to grow the organization by 2025 to serve over 100 students, with a determined focus on helping those children who do not benefit from an arts or music education in their schools. We are committed to raising philanthropic gifts so that the organization can ensure no child is turned away from illumine because of cost. We are proud to have provided ten scholarships to students this year alone.
